We’ve received reports that members at Step P on the pay scale are beginning to receive PS Form 50s in the mail today. These forms reflect the $1,000 contractual pay increase recently awarded in the new agreement.
We want to make sure members are aware that this is the reason for receiving these forms.
In addition, CCAs may also be receiving PS Form 50s, reflecting the additional $0.50/hour increase included in the same contract.
Here are the updated pay rates for full-time letter carriers:
Full-Time Regular (non-T6): $38.96/hour
Full-Time T6: $39.78/hour
Here are the updated pay rates for City Carrier Assistants (CCA’s)
1st year CCA: $20.73/hour
2nd year CCA: $21.23/hour
Additionally, National has shared that the Postal Service expects the elimination of Table 2 Steps AA and A to be effective July 12, 2025. All carriers currently in either of these Steps will be advanced to Step B and begin a new 46-week waiting period before advancing to the next step.
Current expectations for backpay to be completed is in August of 2025
